These kids i came across in 2015 were amazing, they have never seen a digital camera before and when they saw that they can see there photo instantly they were even more excited about getting there photo taken. They wanted to get so close to the camera thinking that would take a better photo. I tried my best to pose them but they were too excited they kept getting too close to the camera for it to focus on everyone.

The Friday market is a crazy and amazing place to be on a Friday after prayer. You will instantly feel like you are back in the Souq days of the past where you can find a lady selling chicks along side a guy garments.

Everyone knows the best place to get ta3maya (falafel) is in the back streets of Cairo where street food gets it’s meaning. You can almost smell the ta3maya frying in the old, reused oil that this guy created probably by his unwashed hands. DELICIOUS !!!!

People are awesome sometimes. This guy saw us with cameras and deiced to pose. Displaying his strength although his advanced years and exhausted demeanor in front of this cafe shop; to me this personifies the true essence of Egypt.

Not everyone will understand but, if you don’t hear this sound you have not experienced the core of Egypt.

The amount of focus it takes to cut though or weld metal together is extraordinary and you need the same to accomplish any goal you have in life. Why should you be any different?
